Building a house on a hill?

Webber Building completed this house in early 2012. From start to finish the project took a little over 12 months to complete due to complexity of the build.

The house was sitting on the side of a hill, so to prevent in from slipping, fifteen 600mm diameter holes were drilled 14m deep and filled with concrete and steel. The basement garage and first floor is all concrete filled block work with a 250mm thick concrete floor to both levels. It took two months to tie the highly complex engineered steel into to these levels. Once the first floor concrete had been laid, the 2nd floor was a traditional house build.

Internally, we installed underfloor heating, an internal lift from the 1st to 2nd floor and a very high specification kitchen.

If you are having a complex house designed and are looking for a top quality building company, then look no further than Webber Building.
