Blog posts on Webber Building projects.

Webber Building completed this house in early 2012. From start to finish the project took a little over 12 months to complete due to complexity of the build.

We are currently working on a double car garage for a client in New Plymouth. The concrete floor has been laid thanks to Clinton at "Concrete Needs Ltd". Because all the existing drainage and soak holes were on the other side of the building, we needed to drill a new soak hole. This required us to drill a 6 metre deep, 600 millimetre diameter hole to take all the storm water off of the new garage roof. Novaflo drainage pipe is then laid from the bottom of the down pipe through the dirt and into the top of the soak hole.

This job involved removing 120 cubic metres of soil from around house, then a drilling rig was brought in to drill 600mm diamter holes 4 meters deep. A specialised hiab truck was then used to lift 8 meter long poles the holes. Then a concrete pump was used to pump 3 cubic metres of concrete in the holes. Once this was completed, work then began on building the Kwila deck and landscaping the rest of the property. Below are some before, during and after shots of this job.
